Consumers spend less, first time in years

Dutch households spent 0.4% less on goods and services in November last year compared with a year earlier, says the national statistics office CBS.
It is the first time in almost five years that consumer spending has gone down, the CBS said. But spending on household goods and consumer electronics rose in the same period, the CBS said.
