Almost 70 jobs axed at Unilever

Some 68 people are to lose their jobs at the research and development facility of food-to-detergents group Unilever in Vlaardingen, reports Tuesday’s Financieele Dagblad.

Another 53 will have to move to positions elsewhere in the company, the paper says.
In total over a thousand people work in the Vlaardingen unit which is the company’s global headquarters for research and development into washing powders and margarine.
