Ryanair to pull out of Maastricht

Budget airline Ryanair is pulling out of Maastricht airport in January, blaming the Dutch tax on flights introduced last summer.


Ryanair flies daily to Alicante and three times a week to Barcelona from the southern regional airport. ‘We can no longer offer cheap fairs on these routes,’ operational director Michael Cawley told news agency ANP.
