Chip-maker NXP lowers Q4 forecast
Friday 21 November 2008
Dutch chip-maker NXP expects its sales in the fourth quarter to decline by between 15% and 25%.
The forecast is a downward revision to earlier statements that turnover would fall by between 8% and 14% in last three months of the year.
A company spokesperson told the Financieele Dagblad that the revision is the result of worsening market conditions. The company has been hit hard by the problems in the car industry.
