‘Dangerous dogs’ pardoned

Six bull terrier dogs which were confiscated under the dangerous dogs act and since destroyed have been given a posthumous pardon by The Hague district court.

Three other dogs have been returned to their owners. The ruling means the owners can now apply for compensation.
The law under which the dogs were seized has since been scrapped.
