Homes evacuated following work on metro
Residents were evacuated from four more buildings on Amsterdam’s Vijzelgracht on Wednesday night because they were in danger of collapsing.
It is the second time houses on the street have been damaged by subsidence, caused by the building of the north-south metro system.
