Groningen tops jobless table
Groningen has overtaken Flevoland as the province with the highest unemployment rate in the Netherlands, according to new figures from the national statistics office CBS.
Groningen, with a rate of 7.1%, was the only region where the jobless total did not fall last year, the CBS said. Zeeland has the lowest unemployment rate at 3.3%.
