Oranje drops in world football rankings
The Dutch national football team has dropped to 10th place on the FIFA world rankings list, says Wednesday’s Telegraaf. They have been overtaken by Greece. Argentina retains the number one slot.
Italy (number three) and France (seven), two of the teams in the same group as the Netherlands for European championships 2008, both held their positions. The fourth team in Group C is Romania which climbed to 12th place.
The Dutch kick off their Euro 2008 campaign against Italy on June 9.
