Nature group owns 100,000 hectares

The purchase of a piece of land between Itteren and Borgharen in the southern province of Limburg means the Dutch nature preservation society Natuurmonumenten now manages 100,000 hectares of reserves.


‘We are extremely happy that over the past hundred years we have been able ensure the protection of 100,000 hectares of valuable nature for the future,’ director Jan Jaap de Graaf said.
