Heineken bid for S&N approved
Shareholders in UK brewing group Scottish & Newcastle have voted by 99.6% in favour of a takeover by Heineken and its Danish partner Carlsberg.
Under the terms of the deal, Heineken will get S&N’s UK, Belgian and Portugese activities, as well as India.
