Tough sentence for terrorism couple

A couple who were key witnesses in the trial of Samir Azzouz on terrorism charges were each sentenced to three years in jail on Monday, even though the public prosecution department had asked for a one year term.

Judges said the couple's heavy involvement in preparing terrorist attacks merited a tougher sentence.
