Top clubs sidelined by police strikes

The crunch game between football premier league leader PSV of Eindhoven and second-placed Amsterdam club Ajax was postponed on Sunday because of a police strike.
The league's other top game between AZ of Alkmaar and Rotterdam's Feyenoord was also postponed for the same reason.

FC Groningen capitalised on the disruption, beating Willem II of Tilburg away 2-1on Saturday to move into third spot. NAC Breda are fourth, having lost on Saturday away to SC Heerenveen 3-0.
