Long wait for rsi pay-out

A former worker at a company which makes transformers has won a 14-year battle for compensation after developing repetitive strain injury (rsi) while doing his job.

The man, declared unfit to work in 1994, spent 18 years doing heavy, monotonous tasks such as winding copper cable, said the FNV trade union, which supported his claim.
