SNS books sharp rise in earnings

Financial services group SNS Reaal booked a 25% rise in earnings last year, taking its full-year profit to €465m.

The company repeated earlier statements that it had 'no exposure' to the US credit crisis, but nevertheless said it expected 2008 to be a 'challenging year'.

SNS booked full year sales of €4.5m, up from €4.3m in 2006.
