Dutch tourists faked New Zealand robbery

Three Dutch tourists who claimed to have been victims of an armed robbery while on holiday in New Zealand have been convicted of wasting 100 hours of police time and ordered out of the country as soon as possible.

The three faked the robbery to cover up road rage damage to the camper van they had hired.
