Queen Beatrix open enough, poll
Only one in five people think Queen Beatrix should be more open about her private life, according to a poll by tv show Eén Vandaag on the eve of her 70th birthday.
Some 72% said they want the monarchy to continue and the reigning monarch gets an approval rating of 7.5 out of 10 for the way she carries out her duties.
Over 75% of the population have confidence in both Queen Beatrix and Crown Prince Willem-Alexander.
Some 24,000 people took part in the poll.
