Suspect Holloway disappearance released

Joran van der Sloot, the 20-year-old Dutch student who was arrested in Arnhem and taken to Aruba for further questioning in connection with the disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway, has been released after two weeks.

Van der Sloot was one of three young men who spent the evening with Holloway on the night she disappeared during a holiday on Aruba two-and-a-half years ago.
Van der Sloot told ANP news service at the weekend that he had made use of his right to remain silent during questioning by the police.
The public prosecution department had said on November 22 that they wanted to talk to Van der Sloot again following the discovery of new evidence.
Van der Sloot was first arrested shortly after Holloway disappeared but later released.
