Ajax to sign deal with China

Amsterdam football club Ajax is to sign a letter of intent for joint activities with the Chinese football association, local club Beijing Guoan FC and Chinese state TV, reports today’s NRC Next.

No figures were disclosed.

The paper points out that Ajax’s new sponsor, insurer Aegon, is active in China. The deal includes training Chinese youth teams, says the NRC Next.
