Heineken, Carlsburg up S&N offer

Brewers Heineken and Carlsburg have increased their cash offer for Scottish & Newcastle to 750 pence a share, valuing the British brewing group at €10.3bn. .

The previous bid was 720 pence. S&N dismissed the earlier bid as a 'significant undervaluation'
