Dutch coach happy with World Cup draw
Monday 26 November 2007
Dutch national football team coach Marco van Basten says he is happy with the group his team has drawn for the 2010 World Cup qualifiers. Holland was placed in a group with Norway, Scotland, Macedonia and Iceland.
None of these teams have succeeded in going through to the European Cup which takes place in Austria and Switzerland in 2008.
The top team in each of the nine European groups qualifies for the World Cup alongside the four best second-placed teams.
