Prince furious with paedophile website

Crown prince Willem-Alexander has reacted furiously to the news that photographs of his eldest daughter Amalia were placed on the website of a pro-paedophile association.

Speaking from Bhutan, where he and princess Máxima are on a state visit, Willem Alexander said the affair was ‘appalling’.
‘As parents we cannot accept this,’ the prince told reporters. ‘Luckily, I did not see it myself or I might have gone completely over the top.’
The royal family was tipped off last week that photographs of three-year-old Amalia and other royal children had been placed on the site alongside suggestive texts.
While photographs on the public pages were removed, others remained on the members’ only section.
On Monday, the royal family’s lawyer went to court to ask for a €50,000 fine to be imposed on the Martijn foundation and for the photographs to be removed.
The court is due to rule on Thursday. Willem Alexander said he hopes to create jurisprudence which will allow other parents to take action against the website.
