Holland good on immigrants rights
The Netherlands is one of the best countries in Europe in terms of the legal situation of new new immigrants, according to research by the Migration Policy Group in Brussels.
Sweden topped the list, followed by Portugal and Belgium, then the Netherlands. Latvia was bottom of the 25-country ranking.
The survey is based on an assessment of laws covering immigrants, such as the right to settle permanently and bring in family members.
