Albert Heijn clashes with Coca Cola

The Albert Heijn supermarket group is refusing to sell 1.5 litre bottles of Coca Cola and Fanta Orange in protest at a sharp price rise.

A spokesman for the supermarket firm said the increase would put up the price of a bottle from €1.22 to €1.35. Coca Cola has not made a proper case for the price hike, the spokesman said.
