Information pool failed in schoolgirl death

Official bodies involved in monitoring the family life of 12-year-old schoolgirl Gessica did not exchange information and no-one felt they had the end responsibility for her situation, according to the official report into the circumstances surrounding the girl’s death.

Gessica was killed, her body was chopped up and dumped in the river Maas last year. Her father is chief suspect.
The report said social workers, her doctor and school were all aware of the difficulties in her home life but because they did not communicate with each other, no-one knew how serious the situation actually was.
