Senators want answers on intervention

Labour (PvdA) senators want ministers to define exactly what conditions will need to be met before the Netherlands will support future military interventions, in light of the Dutch political support for the invasion of Iraq in 2003. .

The coalition agreement says that missions involving Dutch soldiers must have an ‘adequate’ mandate in international law
