Politicians from across the political spectrum have condemned plans by anti-immigration MP Geert Wilders to introduce a vote of no confidence in two junior Labour (PvdA) ministers in the new government because they hold dual nationality.

Wilders said in an interview with the NRC on Saturday that the appointment of Moroccan-born Ahmed Aboutaleb and Turkish national Nebahat Albayrak to the cabinet was wrong because they could have divided loyalties.
Wilders said he wanted to encourage Muslims to leave the Netherlands. Around one million of the 16 million Dutch population are of Muslim origin.
The move is ‘outside parliamentary standards of decency,’ said ChristenUnie leader André Rouvoet. And Henk Kamp, of the right-wing liberal party VVD, said the two ministers are an example of successful integration.
A new Maurice de Hond opinion poll gives Wilders anti-immigration PVV party 14 seats in parliament, five more than its current total. The party is not taking part in the March 7 provincial elections.
Wilders also wants to introduce a private bill to ban burqas, after new integration minister Ella Vogelaar said the face-covering garment would be acceptable on the streets but not public functions or jobs in which human contact was important.
