Queen Elizabeth on flying visit (Update)
Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Phillip were in the Netherlands today in honour of the 400th anniversary of the English Reformed Church in Amsterdam’s Begijnhof. It is the first visit to Holland by the British monarch since 1988.
Queen Elizabethe, 80, was greeted warmly by Queen Beatrix at Rotterdam Airport in the early afternoon. The British royal couple also visited the International Court in the Hague.
