Ice wars heat up

The war between broadcasters RTL and SBS over their rival celebrity ice-skating shows is heating up with RTL announcing it will launch its programme on Thursday, a day earlier than planned. The SBS version was already scheduled for Thursday.

Both shows - Dancing on Ice from RTL and Sterren Dansen Op Het IJs from SBS - promise extra gimmicks and surprise guests to pull in viewers.
