Defections shake up darts world

Three of the Netherlands’ top darts players – Jelle Klaasen, Michael van Gerwen and Vincent van der Voort – have resigned from the British Darts Organisation to join their compatriot Raymond van Barneveld in the rival Professional Darts Corporation.

Klaasen, the BDO champion last year, said the PDC had ‘more money and more tournaments’.
