Crackdown on private use of company carsWednesday 31 January 2007 Tax inspectors are to use cars fitted with special scanners in an effort to track down people who use their company cars for private business without paying the proper tax. Festivals, out-of-town shopping centres and other popular destinations will be targeted. The tax office hopes to raise several hundred thousand euros in extra tax.
