Continuing cold temperatures throughout the country mean there’s a chance of snow in the coming days, especially in the Veluwe, which may be blanketed in white overnight.

But don’t go pulling out your sleighs just yet. For the rest it looks more like sleet, especially in the north of the country, possibly from Wednesday afternoon.

While the maximum daytime temperature is around 6°C, the nighttime minimum temperature is about 1°C so any snow is unlikely to settle.

According to Dutch national weather service KNMI, sleet and hail are possible on Thursday. The agency is also warning people to be aware of icy conditions and dense fog.
