The number of patients in hospital with Covid-19 fell by six to 1,650, still nearly 8% more than a week ago. Hospital admissions have come down from a peak of 199 on February 5 to 184 over the last week, measured as a seven-day average.

There are currently 173 patients in intensive care, down by 16% since last week. However, recorded deaths have gone up from seven a day to 13 over the same period.

The RIVM also said 61.1% of all adults have now had a booster vaccine, while 86.3% have received the first two vaccine doses.
