Diede de Groot has confirmed her dominance of wheelchair tennis by winning her sixth grand slam title in a row at the Australian Open.

In an all-Dutch final, the 25-year-old took just under an hour to see off her doubles partner, Aniek van Koot, 6-1 6-1. The pair won the doubles title on Wednesday, edging out Yui Kamiji and Lucy Shuker in a super tie-break.

De Groot won the so-called Golden Slam last year, claiming all four Grand Slam tournaments and the gold medal at the Paralympics in Tokyo. Altogether she has won 13 Grand Slams, beginning with Wimbledon in 2017.
