Feyenoord of Rotterdam and FC Utrecht will meet on Sunday to determine which club will take part in the qualifying rounds for next season’s Conference League, the new European competition for third tier clubs.

Feyenoord beat Sparta Rotterdam 2-0 on Wednesday evening to seal their place in the play-offs final, while Utrecht beat FC Groningen 1-0.

The final should have been played at the Kuip stadium in Rotterdam on Saturday night but has been transferred to Sunday to avoid a clash with the final of the Eurovision Song Festival.

Amsterdam club Ajax, as league winners, will qualify directly for the Champions League next season, while runner-up PSV will take part in the qualifying competition.
