While Saturday and Sunday will be warm with plenty of sunshine, the Monday public holiday will be much chillier as the wind shifts to the north, weather forecasters say.

Sunday will have sunny periods and temperatures ranging from 16 Celsius on the Wadden Sea islands to 24 Celsius in the south. But there may also be some showers and towards the evening, cloud will gather, bringing stronger winds. Thunderstorms are also possible, the KNMI weather bureau said.

Monday will still have sunny spells, but the temperature will be no more than a chilly 9 Celsius, and there may also be some showers. Tuesday will be similar, but it will warm up again towards the end of the week, the KNMI said.
