François Hollande is in Holland to boost economic ties with France

French president François Hollande is in The Hague on Monday for a one-day official visit aimed at boosting economic ties between the Netherlands and France.

Hollande will meet king Willem-Alexander at his working palace Noordeinde this morning and then move on to the parliamentary complex where he will hold talks with prime minister Mark Rutte and the leaders of the two houses of parliament.

The king and president will make a joint speech after lunch. The president will also visit the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague and the Maritime Museum in Amsterdam, where Dutch and French companies will sign contracts.
