No serious injuries in The Hague tram collision

No-one was seriously hurt in Tuesday morning’s crash between two trams in The Hague but four people were taken to hospital by ambulance, news agency ANP reports.


A further 32 people were taken by bus to two different hospitals, many with facial wounds, ANP said.
The accident happened when a tram ploughed into another at a crossroads shortly before 10.00 hours. The second tram was seriously damaged, a spokesman for the local public transport firm said.
In Eindhoven, 19 passengers were injured, one seriously, when a bus and a lorry collided on the Torenallee during the morning rush hour. Four people were taken to hospital, according to the Eindhovens Dagblad.
