Hoax bomb caller remanded in custody

The 48-year-old woman suspected of making an anonymous phone call about a threat to blow up shops in Amsterdam’s Zuidoost district has been remanded in custody for two weeks.


The phone call led to a major terror alert, seven arrests and the closure of 12 shops in the Arena Boulevard shopping centre in March. All seven were later released without charge.
