The Dutch trust the European Union
Two-thirds of the Dutch (64%) trust the EU, according to research released on Tuesday by the European Commission and the European Regional Council. The European average is just 47%.
However, the Dutch do not think the EU is important in their daily lives. Just 6% think the EU is the most influential of their governments.
