Support for nationalist party disappears
The popularity of the new political party launched by former hard-line Liberal integration minister Rita Verdonk has all but disappeared, according to the latest internet poll by Maurice de Hond.
The nationalist TON would win just one seat in parliament if elections were held now, the poll concludes. Ten months ago the party was showing enough support for 26 seats.
