Holleeder trial faces more delays

The trial of suspected crime boss Willem Holleeder on blackmail charges may be delayed again because of his continuing poor health, reports the Telegraaf on Wednesday.

The paper says medical reports indicate that Holleeder (49) has two years to live if he is kept in jail under high security.
The trial, delayed in April after Holleeder underwent emergency heart surgery, is due to start in early September.
Holleeder and nine others are charged with blackmailing four property magnates, two of whom have since been murdered.
