Bankruptcy rate falls in first half

The number of bankruptcies fell 17% in the first six months of this year, according to figures from the national statistics office CBS.


However, the bankruptcy rate in the north of the country rose 13%. More than half of the bankruptcies recorded were private individuals, but it was still the first time since 1999 that the private bankruptcy rate had fallen, the CBS said
