One in three jobs hard to fill
Of the 200,000 job vacancies in the Netherlands last September, around one-third were described as hard-to-fill, according to new figures from the national statistics office CBS.
The worst affected sector was the construction trade, where 47% of jobs were hard to fill, followed by industrial jobs (44%). The hotel and catering trade, and local government had the lowest percentage of hard-to-fill jobs at 20%.
