Congolese boy should stay in Holland

George, the six-year-old Congolese boy threatened with deportation despite living for four years with the same Dutch foster family, should be allowed to stay in the Netherlands, an Amsterdam court ruled on Monday.

The Volkskrant reports that the immigration service wants to deport the boy because the Netherlands has bought places in a Congolese childrens’ home. His biological mother, who also lives in the Netherlands, had abandoned him.
