Second exit poll puts CDA clearly on top

The NOS television poll, based on 10,000 voters, gave the ruling Christian Democrats a clear majority with 43 seats, eight ahead of Labour in today’s general election. Coalition partner VVD saw its vote crumble from 29 to 21.


Big winner in this poll was the Socialist Party with 24 seats, up from its current nine. Again, the anti-immigration PVV led by Geert Wilders, was a new entrant into parliament with six seats.
