Océ growth disappoints

Photocopy and printer group Océ has reported disappointing growth at its digital document systems division (DDS) which accounts for 70% of group turnover.

Excluding the effect of its takeover of Imagistics and currency effects, the DDS division has booked growth of 4% – but just 1% in the second quarter. Nevertheless, Océ said it expects full-year operating profit to reach €90 mln, up from €75 mln in 2005.
